Jiwon Yang is a hair stylist and certified Goldwell master colorist with formal training in graphics and fine arts from the prestigious Sun Hwa Arts School in Seoul, Korea. Her passion has always been color and style, which she has continued to develop and hone over the years. This passion has been life-altering: inspiring her to leave her home country to attend the Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA—and ultimately leading her to New York City. She continues to paint in her free time at a studio in Lower East Side and at the New York Academy of Art.

Jiwon’s exceptional ability to bring style to every client she encounters has proven much success. For the past ten years, she has worked as a stylist at salons in the trendy SoHo area of Manhattan. She has also worked with a variety of celebrated stylists for major fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue. She has numerous experiences working on fashion shows, photo shoots, and TV commercials.

Jiwon’s uniquely gifted background in fine arts enriches her approach to trends, style, and design. Her mastery in Great Lengths Extension, deep understanding in color, and ability to style afford her full access to every tool that is necessary to create a beautiful look for her clients.
