History:

Twenty years ago, two-time Mr.Ghana Body-building champion, Martin L. Addo came to America with the dream of becoming an actor like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Instead “Addo” as he is lovingly known carved out his own niche, first as a master trainer and Manager for big box gyms all across NYC in the 90’s – 2000’s; then as a champion for seniors, featured prominently in a front page article of the for his commitment to senior fitness and health!

Five years ago Martin Addo branched out on his own under the brand of ADDO FITNESS and founded Southbridge Fitness Center located at Southbridge Towers, in Manhattan’s, historic Wall Street-South Street Seaport area. Recently he has added a 2nd location, ADD-MO FITNESS in partnership with New York born and bred Author, Corrective Exercise Specialist and healthy lifestyle entrepreneur, Monifa Maat, (Bed Aerobics Fitness Flow: 18 Mind-Body Exercises for Strength, Flexibility & Balance) in the heart of another historic area of New York City – Fort Greene Park, in Brooklyn New York.
