New York Boutique Design Firm with with Extensive Experience in Interior Design

We are a boutique design firm in New York, called New York Design Solutions. Our over-all designer is James Calvin III.

Being a naturally gifted artist, James has always possessed a great talent and vision to create beautiful things.

James began his career in New York by studying film at FTC in Dix Hills, Long Island. Wanting to create something more personal which affects the individual client, by blending style, story, and grace into everyday life; James quickly changed his focus to interior with much success.

Since then, James has worked on everything from smaller Manhattan studios to luxury 5th Avenue apartments, to five bedroom homes on both Long Island's North Shore and South Florida. James specializes in style and function making space usable and livable; a room which needs to look beautiful while being lived in.

In 2014, James worked alongside many of the up and coming designers at the Designers Showhouse of New York at The W Residence Downtown.
