I come from a family of entrepreneurs and hustlers. Growing up, I watched my dad and grandmother struggle to start and successfully grow their businesses. With a knack for problem solving and a desire to help others, I got into consulting about 10 years ago to help small business owners start, grow and prosper, keeping them from closing their doors.
I am passionate about working with small businesses, especially those that are women-owned and minority-owned. I have worked with business owners at every stage and businesses of every size. I have worked with bakeries, life coaches, consulting firms, hair salons, event planning services, marketing agencies, videographers, photographers, co-working spaces, singers, authors, boutiques, craft stores, tailors, tech startups, ecommerce stores and more.
My rates start at $25 depending on the channel through which consulting is provided. Clients pay for contact, prep and travel time. I offer email, phone, virtual and in person one-on-one and group consulting. Clients pay a deposit/retainer in advance of work. If more time is needed to complete a project, client will pay an additional fee to cover expenses. At the moment, we are offering a discount to businesses affected by COVID-19 and underrepresented founders. Rates (with discount applied): -Email Consultation: Starts at $25/email -Discovery Call (15 Mins): Free! -Phone Consultation (30 Mins): $50 -Phone Consultation (60 Mins): $100 -Virtual Consultation (30 Mins): $75 -Virtual Consultation (60 Mins): $150 -Monthly Membership (60 Min Phone Consultation): $100/month -Face-to-Face Consulting (30 Mins and 60 Mins): Request a quote; Rates will include travel expenses. -Business Plan Writing: Starts at $2995 (3-6 Week Delivery) -Business Incorporation: Starts at $500 Ask me about my rates for other services!
I have been working with diverse small business owners for the last ten years. I hold a BS in Communication from Florida International University (FIU) in Miami, Florida and a MSc in Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL) in London, United Kingdom. My work in marketing, consulting, community relations and economic development has allowed me to travel the world and work and collaborate with businesses, non-profits and organizations big and small, including but not limited to CNN en Español, Univision, Ford, KIND Snacks and ASBDC.
My advice to customers who are looking to hire a business consultant is that they should hire someone that they trust and feel comfortable opening up to, someone they get a "good vibe" from, that has their best interest in mind, that has the qualities they are looking for, someone who has experience working on similar projects, and someone who is within their budget.
I prefer working with clients who mean business. My best clients are those who are punctual, professional, "doers" and who pay on time. If you are ready to get down to business, let's work!
