Becoming a Health Coach was my second career path, one I chose after being diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and my subsequent healing journey. Learning the hard way that the traditional medications that were prescribed for IBD only masked symptoms and did not help the patient heal, forced me to consider "alternative" therapies like nutrition and lifestyle change. These truly changed my life. As I started to get better, I realized that I am not different than anyone else, so I went back to school to study nutrition so that I could help other people on their road back to health, wellness, and balance.
I work with people dealing with a whole range of concerns from weight loss to chronic disease. My passion is digestive health, helping my clients live their healthiest and best lives without the pain, discomfort, and embarrassment that often accompanies these issues. All of my work is completely customized to the client, and we will work together holistically, meaning we will focus on nutrition as well as stress management, appropriate exercise, hydration, adequate rest, living environment, etc.

I got started in the field of holistic wellness after healing my body from debilitating ulcerative colitis.
My typical clients are people dealing with digestive issues (IBS, IBD, GERD, acid reflux, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, etc.), weight loss, or other chronic disease.
My approach is unique because I walk the talk and have gone through the healing process on my own. I understand the pain, discomfort, and embarrassment. I know what it is like to change the diet and lifestyle and can provide step by step help to get the body back into balance.
My services allow my clients to feel energetic, confident, healthy, comfortable in their body, and ready to live their best life.
It is important to understand that healing takes time and that no one is going to make the changes necessary after one session. I work with my individual clients in packages of six sessions, which generally occur over a three month period.
I firmly believe that everything in the body is interconnected and that it is important to look at the body as a whole, not just at individual parts. The focus is not just on nutrition, but also on the other aspects of wellness including rest, hydration, exercise, and stress management.
I offer a free 20 minute discover session. My work starts with a 90 minute consultation. This is followed by a package of six sessions. There is a discount if the client pays upfront for the package.
I am certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Teachers College at Columbia University.
The best suggestion I have for working with providers in my field is to be 100% dedicated to the process and believe in your body's ability to get back to a state of wellness.
I am currently exclusively working remotely over Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime, whichever is best for the client. I provide a full set of notes after each session, plus appropriate links, recipes, book recommendations, etc.
