To me, the most incredibly rewarding aspect of being a makeup artist is the fact that I get to be an integral part of a person's transformation. Every time I start a new makeup application or project whether it be for a red carpet event, a wedding, a film or a fashion shoot, I love how excited I feel from beginning to end. There is always a precise moment, a turning point, so to speak, that I see the transformation happen in my chair. And right then I know I've created something not only beautiful, but meaningful. There is just nothing like it!

Anita has been doing makeup for 13 years. She studied makeup at Delmar Academy in London after graduating St. Lawrence university with a degree in Speech and Theatre. Upon returning to NYC after 6 months in London she began working for MAC Cosmetics. After 4 years with the company, Anita moved forward on her own by working on various fashion shoots including makeup for publications such as LuLa, Details, Jane, and Inked as well as developing a bridal makeup business. She currently works all around NYC, the boroughs, and the tri-state area.
