Nico, Italian guitarist, composer and educator, currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. After receiving his Master's degree in philosophy with a thesis on the ontology of music, he moved to Boston. There he attended Berklee College of Music, thanks to a Best Entering Talent Students scholarship, and graduated magna cum laude. In New York he leads a quartet, co-leads a duo and an improvised music trio. He has played in numerous well known venues in the city, such as Merkin Hall, and toured the US and Europe, giving concerts, master classes and lectures. He is an experienced teacher, well versed in all styles and capable of finding the students' unique potential and making them reach their goals through a customized teaching method.
