I first became interested in nutrition after my brother was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at a young age. This interest and research led to completing my capstone project as a high school senior on Diabetes. A few years later, as a college student, I struggled with my own nutritional status with an eventual diagnosis of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. These family and personal struggles led to my increased interest and research in nutrition, which eventually led to a Bachelor's of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, a Master's of Science in Nutritional Diagnostics and obtaining my license to work as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
I am interpersonal, practical, realistic and collaborative when working with clients. I understand that drastic change is typically not long lasting change.. I am the health professional to work with you and walk along side you in your ongoing battle and journey to improved health.
